Wildcat Weekly

February 19, 2021

Well the winter weather came as predicted this week! I think it's probably safe to say that most of us are counting the days to sunny skies and warmer weather at this point. Nonetheless I hope the kids are having fun in the snow. As of right now we are scheduled for a full week of school next week and I for one am looking forward to that.

Week of February 22

Monday - Cohort A in person, cohort B remote

Tuesday - Cohort A in person, cohort B remote

Wednesday - Remote day for both cohorts

Thursday - Cohort B in person, cohort A remote

Friday - Cohort B in person, cohort A remote

Picture Day

Picture Day with MotoPhoto is scheduled for March 1st (Cohort A) and March 4th (Cohort B). Cyber and fully remote students can get pictures taken between 12:00 and 1:00 on either day without mixing in with the in-person classes.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held via zoom or phone calls on March 10th, 11th and 12th. You will receive an email next week with an attachment which gives you the link and the "code" for your child's teacher. Since Monday/Tuesday are full days for students and Wednesday/Thursday are half-days, we will follow an alternate cohort schedule the week of March 8th. The schedule for in person learning for each cohort will be as follows:

  • Monday March 8th – Full student day – Cohort A in person
  • Tuesday March 9th – Full student day – Cohort B in person
  • Wednesday March 10th – Half student day / Afternoon Conferences– Cohort A in person
  • Thursday March 11th – Half student day/ Afternoon & Evening Conferences – Cohort B in person
  • Friday March 12th – No school for students; Morning Conferences

5th Grade Baby Photos

Attention 5th grade parents and guardians!!

We are collecting baby pictures of your 5th graders for the yearbook! It’s always fun to “Guess That Baby” in the yearbook each year! We don’t want to miss anyone!! Please email a digital copy of your student’s baby picture to janicestief@gmail.com as soon as possible! Kindly include your student's name and 5th grade teacher in the email you send along with the baby picture! Thank you!

¡Atención familias de 5º grado!

Estamos colectando fotos de bebés de los estudiantes de 5to grado para incluirlas en el anuario de fotos. ¡Es muy divertido todos los años jugar a “adivinar quién ese bebé” en el anuario!

¡No queremos olvidar a ningún estudiante! Por favor envíe una copia digital de la foto de bebé de su hijo(a) a janicestief@gmail.com lo antes posible. No olvide incluir en el correo electrónico el nombre de su estudiante y el nombre de la maestra de 5to grado.

Muchas gracias.
