Sir Tim Berners-Lee
Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web.
He was born on 8th June 1955. When he was young Tim was a very keen train spotter and loved to play with model railways.
In 2004 he received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth the second for his work. Recently he received the award of '100 most important people of the 20th century' by the Times Magazine.
