Thanksgiving Feast - Lunch orders due by Nov. 13!
On Fri., Nov. 20, CtRCS will celebrate its annual Thanksgiving Feast Lunch. Parents are invited to come and have a Thanksgiving lunch with their student(s). Our lunch caterer will prepare a complete roasted turkey menu with desserts and drinks.
Lunch must be ordered online through the school lunch website no later than Nov.13. Due to space limitations, lunch will be restricted to two parents/adults and immediate siblings only. Parents with students eating at different times (as detailed below) should indicate in the notes of the lunch order at which time the parents will eat their meals. Parents are welcome to sit with their other children while the students eat at their scheduled lunch times.
*Please note: If you order lunch “By the Month” on the school caterer website, you must still order the separate Thanksgiving Feast menu choice for this event.
The lunch schedule that day will be:
10:45-11:25: Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten
11:30-12:10: 1st and 2nd grade
12:15-1:00: 3rd-6th grade
Lunch prices are $6.75 for students and $7.25 for adults.
We look forward to sharing this day with you and celebrating the many blessings that have been bestowed on our school! Should you have questions, please contact Laura Tijerina (LTijerina@kw.com) or Michele Snyder (Micheleesnyder@gmail.com).
RAIN OR SHINE, we're still cooking! Join us for the 2nd Annual CtR Chili Cook-Off!
We hope to see you tomorrow for the 2nd Annual CtR Chili Cook-Off, our biggest fundraiser of the year in support of Steps for Students 2016! Gates open at 6 p.m. and tickets will be available at the door ($15 adults; $5 kids). Chili samplings, hot dogs, desserts, drinks and more are in store for your family! Don't forget the awesome DJ and live music; face painting and bounce houses for the kids; and our amazing live and silent auctions - from Teacher for the Day to special gift baskets and Pastor or Principal for the Day to a Weekend on Lake Travis! In the event of wet weather, the Cook-Off will move inside the Parish Hall. So come on out for CtrCS' most fun night of the year! See you at the Cook-Off!

Scholastic Book Fair
Reading is the most important skill you can teach a child. We invite you to visit our Scholastic Book Fair at CtR School Nov. 13 – 20!
Our Scholastic Book Fair surrounds students in the celebration of reading with hundreds of fun, engaging, and affordable books for them to discover. Giving kids access to good books and the opportunity to choose their own books will motivate them to read more. And like most acquired skills, the more kids practice reading, the better they’ll get.
Please make plans to visit our book fair, and thank you in advance for supporting the CtR School Library. You can also shop online at our Scholastic website http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/ctrschool
