PARENT REMINDERS:
After-School Enrichment Programs - If your student has enrolled in a new session of, or de-enrolled from, Chess, Art, Bricks for Kidz, Golf or Drama Kids, parents must notify the front office of the dismissal change. We cannot take the child's word for it that they should or should not attend - we must hear from the parent directly. Thank you for helping us ensure students are exactly where they need to be at the end of the day!
Lost & Found is extremely full, including an iphone that has not been claimed in over a week. Please remind your student to check for missing items. The next donation day will be announced soon.

Important Notice - No Visitors During 2 Weeks of STAAR Testing
As most parents are aware from last year, STAAR testing will soon take place and in order to ensure a quiet and secure environment, NO VISITORS are allowed on campus during the 2 weeks of testing. This policy applies to ALL GRADES even if your student is not taking the STAAR test.
Mark Your Calendars for the Upcoming "No Visitors" Weeks:
- March 28 - April 1 (Mon - Fri)
- May 9 - May 13 (Mon - Fri)
What Does "No Visitors" Mean?
- No eating lunch with your student (all grades).
- No drop offs/deliveries for any grade level (includes lunches, water bottles, library books, homework, etc). Everything must be packed with your student that morning. If your student forgets their lunch, make sure they have $ in their My Payments Plus account to buy lunch that day. Healthy choices and vegetarian options are available every day.
- No PTA, workroom or classroom volunteers.
- Do not schedule Dr appts or early dismissals on testing days for your 3rd, 4th and 5th grader. Students in grades 3 - 5 will not be pulled out of testing.
STAAR Testing Days for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades:
March 29 - 4th Grade/Writing
March 29 - 5th Grade/Math
March 30 - 5th Grade/Reading

Thank you for helping us ensure confidentiality and security per STAAR guidelines.
Diverse Abilities Day
On Friday, students had the opportunity to learn how to relate to each other and develop a better understanding of what it's like to live with certain challenges every day. The PTA's Diverse Abilities program featured several stations with specific activities demonstrating what it's like to have unique needs such as blindness, asthma, and physical disabilities, among others.
Experiencing what some of our friends deal with is a great way to foster an inclusive community and help students appreciate those that persevere through difficulties. Thank you to our volunteers and PTA SAGE Chairperson, Michele Erwin, for the amazing work that went into making Diverse Abilities Day a meaningful success for our campus!
Yearbooks - Time is Running Out!
Orders will be accepted until Spring Break and extras will not be available this year.
New to Frisco ISD?
Join other new district parents for an orientation session on March 1 from 7-8pm. The goal is to help parents become familiar with FISD operations, programs and policies and to help ease the transition for families into a new school and school district.
Frisco ISD continues to be a destination school district for families moving to or relocating within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Each year, the district welcomes an average of 3,000 new students – enough to fill one high school and middle school – from across Texas, the United States and around the globe.
Parents are encouraged to arrive early to speak one-on-one with staff members representing several Frisco ISD programs and departments.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., booths will be set up down the hall from the Board Room, in the Administration Building Training Rooms, featuring information on Advanced Academics, Gifted and Talented, Special Education, Child Nutrition, Transportation and more.
