NEWS FROM OUR SCHOOL COUNSELOR MRS. CALDWELL
Teaching our kids how to serve and help others is critical when it comes to happiness. When kids are willing to contribute and do their part it helps them gain confidence, experience, and belonging. It gives them a sense of purpose that their classroom, family, and community need them. Learning to be a helper protects kids from developing traits like selfishness and self-centeredness. It also surrounds them with appreciation. When we provide opportunities for our kids to contribute, we are directly fostering our next generation of leaders.

Message from our school Librarian:
The holiday season is here. Some of my favorite traditions center around books! I know what you’re thinking...I don’t have time to read! While you’re busy preparing food, decorating the house, cleaning in preparation for visiting friends and family, or driving, you or your child can read aloud from a favorite book or download a book to listen to. The work or the drive always gets done more happily when my family is listening to a good book. Stop by the library and pick something up today! Also, consider giving the gift of a good book!
