Mark your calendars! Our Back-to-School Night will be Wednesday, September 7th, from 6:00 pm - 7:39 pm. Come meet our AMAZING staff and learn about your student's classes.

Our PTSA will be offering dinner options, Lincoln wear, memberships and more from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We thank you in advance for stopping by and supporting our Lincoln students.

Dear Panther Families,

This is a friendly reminder that student cell phones must be turned off and put in their backpacks during school hours. Families, we ask for your support in reminding your students of this school policy. Thank you.

Safety and Security

The Oceanside Unified School District is committed to maintaining safe and secure campuses in order to promote the health, and well-being of our students, families, and staff. The following prevention practices are in place to support the safety and security of our school.

  • In September, all of our staff will participate in an Active Assailant training where we will learn and practice response protocols for keeping our students safe in the unlikely situation involving an armed intruder.
  • Our school regularly practices disaster and evacuation drills with our students and staff, including a minimum of two lockdown drills per year.
  • OUSD partners with the Oceanside Police Department to provide four dedicated School Resource Officers (SRO) who are trained members of the National Association of School Resource Officers. Our SROs are stationed at schools within the district, and are regular visitors on our campus. The SROs will respond to any safety issues that arise at any of our schools.
  • OUSD employs a highly trained team of over 45 Campus Security who serve our middle schools, high schools, and Surfside Academy.
  • This summer, our administrative and custodial team led by the Student Services Coordinator, SRO(s) and OPD SWAT Officers conducted a comprehensive campus security walkthrough.
  • Our school has the Raptor Visitor Management System which tracks all visitors or volunteers entering campus. Authorized visitors are then presented with a clearly marked identification badge.
  • Our school has a comprehensive Crisis Response Plan that is reviewed annually with all staff, and placed in all classrooms, that details how to safely respond to specific emergency situations.

Our AMAZING counseling team is working to balance student class sizes. As we try to limit changes to student schedules, at times it is necessary to ensure our classes are balanced for the benefit of our students. Please know we will only make adjustments to student schedules if absolutely necessary.

  • Change is dependent on availability and class sizes
  • Cannot conflict with academic classes
  • Teacher requests or period changes will not be accommodated
