LOVE Your School Campaign

2 ways to LOVE YOUR SCHOOL, Direct Donation or Innisbrook

One way to show your LOVE for Mills is with a Direct Donation or (No Hassle Donation). Visit our site: millspta(dot)org & click on the Store link or go directly to the following link: https://www.schoolpay.com/pay/for/Love-Your-School-Campaign--Open-Donation-Amount--School-year/Id3LU to make your donation (the suggested donation is $40 a child ...roughly about 22 cents a school day) or any amount of your choice, you may donate more than $40 if you'd like. If you prefer to write a check, please make it out to Mills PTA & write your child's name & grade in the memo so we know whose name to put on the Paw Print. We will have a large envelope in the main office marked LOVE Your School Campaign if you'd like to drop off your check or you may also send it in with your child. In return, your child will receive a Paw Print hung in their honor in the cafeteria. Mills receives 100% of your donation. *Remember, ask your employer to match your 100% tax deductible donation.* Freescale, Apple, Dell, & AMD are just a few who match donations. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles…anyone can make a donation…just send them the link or to our PTA website: millspta(dot)org & click on the Store link & look for LOVE Your School donation.

Another way to show your LOVE is to Shop the online Innisbrook catalog through our website link, http://innisbrook.com/user/159934. Innisbrook carries beautiful all-occasion gift wrap, many are double-sided & made in the USA. There are also gift bags, beautiful ribbons & bows, gourmet chocolates & food, candles, gorgeous & reasonably priced reusable tote bags that can be used for books & groceries, etc. (these are almost too pretty for groceries), & many other items that would make nice birthday or holiday gifts. Share the link with family & friends so they can support your child's school, too! Orders of $50 or more receive a free gift. Orders are all online & will be shipped directly to you. No catalogs & no door to door sales. Innisbrook is a website shopping service that offers us a 40% rebate. *This is another way for your child to earn a Paw Print on the cafeteria wall.*

WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO?

So where will my money go this year?…Historically, there are many items our PTA has paid for & will hopefully be able to continue to support. For example, did you know the PTA pays for our 2 copiers, teacher classroom supplies, professional development for teachers, cultural awareness events like Holidays Around the World, as well as, technology improvements & other identified educational needs? We've also provided temporary support to our Take Flight dyslexia program, helped support our computer lab, moved Innovation Stations from the portables into the main building, ensured every classroom had a working projector & document camera, purchased additional printers & computers, & paid for new chairs for assemblies & programs (whew, that's a lot!) among many other things. None which would have ever been possible, or will continue to be, without YOUR continuing generous financial support!

Our new Principal, Mrs. Beachum, informed us of an educational need for the 2015/16 school year...Social Studies COWS or (carts on wheels). These portable carts contain maps & various materials necessary for our children to learn. So that may be something we'll possibly explore funding this year. Another idea was to improve upon our outdoor classroom. We'll survey our teachers to find out what their needs are & all PTA members will be eligible to vote on how we spend your money. We are always conscious of funding projects that benefit the most number of children & grade levels & try to fund as many as projects as possible per year. So, in a nutshell, ALL students & teachers will benefit from your donations.

Thank You Mills Community!
