Gratitude: choosing to notice and appreciate things in our life, things in others, and things in the world. This is the beautiful theme our students are practicing this month in their Social Emotional Learning lessons. I just completed the "Family Gratitude Challenge" which is included in Ms E's counseling corner this month, and you can see my creation below. If your family completes the challenge, please send me a photo, I'd love to see what you are grateful for.
I am extremely grateful to call you my Hallinan Family!
Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

Book Fair (virtual) is coming to Hallinan
The book fair is one of the most fun events at Hallinan and although we cannot bring it to you live, we are excited to offer an online book fair this year.
The Hallinan Elementary Renovation Project will bring significant improvements to the forty-year-old facility, including upgrades in safety and security, technology and seismic and infrastructure. Click here for more information.
Please remember that Hallinan is a closed campus and only staff and construction crew are allowed onsite - inside and outside. We appreciate your cooperation.
The renovations continue and Hallinan is looking amazing - especially in the photo below sent to me last week by Science teacher, Larry Zurcher. It reminds me of a quote:
Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.
