Push/Pull/Grip Forces
A force exerted no another object.
Buoyant Forces
For an object to float, the upward buoyant force must be equal to the downward gravity force
Air and Water Pressure
Air Pressure: Force exerted on a surface by the weight
Water Pressure: A force that makes a flow of water strong or weak
Friction Forces
Force that opposes the motion between two touching surfaces. Works against motion.
Air Resistance Force
Force that opposes the motion of objects that move through the air.
Normal Force
The force perpendicular to an object's surface that results in support.
Tension Forces
Being stretched tightly by forces acting from the opposite ends.
Elastic Force
A force stretched or compressed but able to go back to its original shape or form.
Electrical Force
Two like charges repel. Two opposite charges attract.
Gravity Force
Attractive force between two objects that depends on the masses of the objects and the distance between them.
