Lander Elementary Friday Newsletter
Friday, April 3rd, 2020
Unfortunately, this week brought more news of school building closures. The Governor extended our school closures until May 1st, we are hoping first and foremost that everyone is healthy by then and we can welcome our students back into our school, we miss them so much. We continue to try and find ways to connect with students and help support them in their learning. Our teachers continue to create learning activities that can be done remotely and check in regularly with students. If you have any questions, concerns, or just need advice, please feel free to reach out to our teachers or any of our staff at Lander, we are here to support you.
We thank all of the families and students for their support and patience during this unique time. We know this first week of remote learning has had its set of challenges. As we continue our remote learning plan, we wanted to give our families an opportunity to provide feedback on ways we can continue to improve the online learning experience for students. Please take a moment to complete this survey from our Curriculum Department to help refine our process.
Our Lander PTG continues their work and finding ways to promote our school spirit and support families virtually as well. Lot's of great ideas have been discussed, here are some updates:

CAMP INVENTION NEWS: Extended Summer Savings
We know educators and parents alike have experienced exceptionally challenging times with school closures and ever-evolving circumstances during this unprecedented time. As partners in education, we want to do everything we can to help, so we have decided to extend our 2020 discount codes. We remain optimistic about the coming months and believe that summer learning programs will be more important than ever before. We hope that this extension will allow more families the opportunity to register for Camp InventionĀ® and save on summer learning and collaborative, hands-on fun for their children.
