Principal's Message
Wolfpack families,
Happy Friday! What a great way to end the week on this warm and sunny day. Thank you to the many parents who attended our Principal's Coffee on Monday morning and engaged in conversation about our health and sexual education curriculum. I really value you taking time out of your week to join me. Resources are available on our district website if you wish to access them. On Monday, we also held our final fire drill and our students continue to do exactly what we need them to do. Well done, students!
A few reminders to keep in mind as we finish out the year:
~ Please do not drop off your student in the staff parking lot
~ Please only drop your student off in the lane closest to the school
~ As we get warmer weather, please remind your student of clothing that is appropriate for school and clothing that may be more appropriate for weekend wear.
Finally, next Tuesday, we will host guest speaker Matt Bellace. Dr. Bellace is a national speaker who talks to students in a candid, direct and meaningful way about the danger of drugs, alcohol, vaping and how to find positive outlets in life. This comes at a very important time and as wonderful as our community and district are, our students continue to have tremendous access to drugs, alcohol and vaping products if they choose to seek it out. Engaging in dangerous behavior can have very real consequences that we hope our students choose to avoid. I look forward to Mr. Bellace and his presentation. If you wish, you can see him present on Tuesday night so that the conversation with your child is meaningful. Please refer to the Message from the Counselors below for more information on Dr. Bellace and his presentations.
Have a wonderful weekend and remember that Monday is a late-start day.
In gratitude,
Scott

Knott's Berry Farm Trip - June 1, 2023 - PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Knott’s new policy requires one adult (18 or older) chaperone for every ten students. If we do not get enough chaperones, we cannot have a trip this year. Parent volunteers will be given one complimentary chaperone ticket to enter the park. Unfortunately, we have limited availability for parents to ride the buses. Chaperones driving themselves to the park will incur the cost of gas, mileage, and parking ($25 per vehicle). If you are interested and available to volunteer for this event, please complete this google form. Thank you in advance for making this 8th-grade trip possible for our students!
Date: Thursday, June 1st
Time: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm (depending on traffic)
From the PE Department
Please follow us on Instagram to see what your student is up to during PE class.
If you have any extra tape measures or used tennis balls that you don't need at the house anymore the PE department can use them for our Track and Field Unit. Thank you!
Gardening Club
We had a great time on Friday evening assembling cages to protect the edible garden beds from critters. Many thanks to the Concachen family for planning and designing the cages as well as procuring the supplies. It made them easy and fun to assemble.
With additional help from PTMS parents Bo Wang and Lingyun Zhao, we were able to mount the blackboard on the shed and build the table/bench.
We are so proud of what this Garden Club has been able to accomplish.
