Tech Ambassadors
Dear Prospect Families,
We are pleased to embark on the third year of the Tech Ambassadors leadership program at Prospect. Students who complete the application process and are chosen as Tech Ambassadors will serve as leaders within our school and district.
Tech Ambassadors will meet on one Monday/month during lunch and recess (11:25-12:15).
K-2 Tech Ambassadors will start on 11/6
3-5 Tech Ambassadors will start on 10/25
Goals and Mission of the Tech Ambassadors:
• To develop leadership skills in order to help their school community
• To serve as technology integration leaders in their school
• To foster positive digital citizenship
We ask both new and returning students to indicate their interest in the program by September 25th.
If your student is in grades K-2, please complete this interest form by September 25th, and a Seesaw application for the student will be forthcoming.
If your student is in grades 3-8, please have him/her complete this Google Form by September 25th.

Prospect Safety Drills- Just a reminder
We have three upcoming safety drills that will be taking place at Prospect:
Monday, September 18th- Lockdown Drill with Clarendon Hills Police
Thursday, September 21st- Bus Evacuation Drill
Per the School Safety Drill Act covered under Illinois Statute (105 ILCS 12/20), this notification is being provided to parents and guardians of students attending Prospect School. On Monday, September 18th at 2:30, Prospect will conduct a lockdown drill that will include school staff, students, and Clarendon Hills law enforcement agency representative(s). During this drill, teachers will utilize the linked Google Slides to instruct students.
We understand that some parents/guardians may want to opt out of this type of drill for their child. As the parent/guardian of a student attending Prospect, you have the option to exempt your child, for any reason, from the drill. If you choose to exempt your child from the drill, please notify Mary Ann Alberts at 630-861-4400 or malberts@d181.org no later than the day of the drill.
Absence Reporting
New and improved absence reporting. You may now notify us of illness, vacation, appointments, and other absences through the same Absence Reporting Link. You may also submit them in advance and we will keep track of them.
