Deforestation
A) The country in Africa that i choose that struggles with deforestation is Niger.
B) Deforestation is the clearence or cutting down of trees for no widespread use. It's a problem because trees help living things survive. trees provide oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide, and hold down the soil preventing landslides.
C) If there were no forests in the world all living things would die because trees produce oxygen, so we would have no clean air to breathe. Also, landslides would occur because there would nothing to hold soil in place. Deforestation also cause a lot of global warming.
D) If corporations have the ability to destroy the world's intact forests, they also have the power to help save them. Companies can make an impact by introducing zero-deforestation policies that require suppliers to produce commodities such as timber, beef, soy, palm oil and paper fiber in a way that has a minimal impact on natural forests and the climate. If we provide Materials to the people that cause deforestation, maybe they would need to use the trees anymore. If we give them all their materials, we can stop deforestation.
E) I asked my aunt, and she said she would pay for anything I needed because she also wants to stop deforestation.
