Canada's current situation
On July 1, 2014, Canada's population was estimated at 35,540,400.up 386,100 or 1.1% over the last year (2013/2014). Except for the period between 1986/1987 and 1989/1990, when rates were higher, the overall population growth rate has shown little differences in 30 years, ranging between 0.8% and 1.2%. the birth rate is currently 1.61 which means its low and stable which is good, so the country wont get over populated. the death rate is currently 0.081 which Is good because its lower than the birth rate.

Canada in 2050?
In my opinion I think Canada will have a slowly increasing population. since there are about 1000 immigrants coming to Canada each day by the time we reach 2050 we will have a lot of immigrants! And Also we get 1 million more people every 4 years! We will have a lower birth rate because I think women will try to get educated rather than actually having a family and kids. I'm not saying they wont have kids but I think they will get married late. the death rate will decrease because there will be hopefully better medicines and doctors will have a better techniques of making his client heal faster.
