UNDERCLASSMEN PICTURE DAY:

Yearbook picture day for students in grades 9, 10 and 11 will be on October 12th & 13th. Students will be taking photos during English classes. Please email christina.sauceda@austinisd.org for any questions.

2021 YEARBOOKS ARE IN

The 2021 yearbooks have finally been delivered. If you ordered a 2021 yearbook last year and have yet to receive it, please pick up your yearbook during lunch (12:45-1:25 pm) from room 10. If you are unable to come during lunchtime, please email christina.sauceda@austinisd.org to schedule a time for pick up. If you still would like to order a 2021 yearbook, you may do so via cash or a check made out to Crockett High School for $55.

Financial Aid Workshops |

Crockett is hosting two Financial Aid workshops to assist seniors and thier families apply for financial aid for college. Volunteers will be available in the Crockett Library to help families complete their FAFSA or TASFA application on Saturday, Oct 9 9am-12pm and Wednesday, November 17th from 5:30-7:30pm. You are strongly encouraged to attend one of these events if you would like assistance applying for financial aid. If you have questions, please reach out to our college adviser, Ms. Snyder, at michelle.snyder@austinisd.org. Jazz Band Audition Success!

Two of our Crockett musicians, Nolan Hart and Matthew Chavez, auditioned for coveted spots in the two Region Jazz Ensembles and BOTH blew everyone in our region out of the water, with Nolan getting second chair trombone and Matthew getting FIRST chair alto saxophone (as a sophomore!). This also means they both automatically advance Area, so they will both submit professional recordings to the UIL state judges to try to get a spot in an all-state jazz band. Nolan will be fighting for one of only six spots in the whole state and Matthew will be fighting for one of only four spots, against musicians from the whole state of Texas.

A BIG congarts to these Cougars as region jazz music is the most difficult music that students can study or audition within our high school band world and they both did an incredible job representing Crockett!

Parking Guidelines at Drop Off/Pick Up

Crockett Community-

The City of Austin has placed white barrier markers along Stassney between Menchaca and the railroad tracks. For safety reasons, we ask that you do not park along the road during arrival and/or dismissal time. For afternoon dismissal, the busses are usually clear by 4:50pm. When the busses are gone, you can use the bus loop to pick up your child.
