2. Creating Google Assignments
The Google Drive Assignment App (built within Schoology) allows teachers to assign students an individual copy of a Google file from within a Schoology Assignment.
Students can complete their work while teachers see real-time progress. Once the students make a submission, teachers can assign a grade and give feedback. All this can be done without the teacher or student ever leaving Schoology.

To Create a Google Assignment:
- Click on the "Add Materials" button or green "Add Inline" tool and Select "Add Assignment."
- Complete the name, description and due date fields. Teachers can configure other options as appropriate.
- Click on the 'Google Drive Assignment' button.
- Select the Google Drive file you want to associate with this assignment.
- Click 'Create'
Ways to Use Google Files in Schoology:
- Docs: Essays & Worksheets
- Slides: Lectures or Exit Tickets
- Sheets: Data Collection
- Drawings: Label Images

- Teachers can leave feedback LIVE while their students are working!
In Submissions tab:
- Teachers can add comments.
- Teachers can click 'Unsubmit' to return the document to the student for revisions!
*Students and teachers can continue to Submit and Unsubmit until the due date passes.
