From the Principal...
Hello Seton Community,
Wow! This school year is flying by. I hope you are all healthy and enjoying the longer days of spring.
May is coming soon, and with it a month of honoring our Mother Mary. As COVID protocol requires, we will not be participating in some of our traditional whole-school May events. Instead, our May Crowning will be performed by our kindergarten class on video. That video will be shared with the classrooms and our Seton Community. We will also be participating in an all-school Rosary after our Mass on May 7. Please feel free to stay after Mass to join us. We hope that the living Rosary and our cupcake celebration will return next year.
As May is also a month of spring assessments and preparation for the end of the school year, Seton Catholic will be suspending the current COVID travel quarantine for staff and students. We strongly encourage you to refrain from travel so that your child(ren) are present for testing and we will continue to enforce quarantines for COVID symptoms and exposures. Thank you for your understanding.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.

You may have heard in the news that the CDC has released options to reduce the length of COVID-19 quarantines. I have attached the Sheboygan County Recommendations for your review. Seton Catholic will be using those recommendations as listed below. We will maintain a 14 day quarantine as we are in a setting with many people and the potential for spread. Please be diligent with safety precautions as we are hoping to stay face to face for your children.
14 day no symptoms, no test option:
This is a 14-day quarantine from Seton School. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or the day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school without a doctor note after 14 days and if he/she has no symptoms. These days will be tracked in the office.
7 day no symptoms, negative test option:
Quarantine can end after day 7 of quarantine with a negative test and no symptoms if the test was taken no sooner than day 6 of the quarantine. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school with a dated confirmation of a negative test and no symptoms. The days will be tracked in the school office.
Please note that household contacts are handled differently.

Support Pride in Partnership
The pandemic has been hard on many members of our community. Not only has it impacted our health and school routines, it has created many challenges for our local business. In response, Seton Catholic has created the Pride in Partnership program. We are recognizing local businesses who have agreed to post our Pride in Partnership flyer.
We ask that you support these businesses by using their services and purchasing their products. If you are considering a donation to our 2021 Mane Event, consider a gift card from one of the following Pride in Partnership members.
