Thank You to Stricker's Auction!

We would like to say "Thank you" to Ron Stricker at Stricker's Auction for allowing the Sunflower Staff to park in his parking lot today. With over 250 guests visiting Sunflower for Grandparents' Day, we knew we needed the extra spaces that he provided for us! Ron has always been a big supporter of Sunflower's activities. Check out his website:!

Thank You to Meghann Rebecca Photography!

Meghann Miller is a Sunflower mom who graciously provided her photography talents for our Grandparents' Day Photo Booth. If you would like to order a print of your student's picture, please check out her website at Thank you so much Meghann!!

Grandparents' Day 2018 was a Success!

Sunflower staff and students hosted 385 guests today for Grandparents' Day. Our special guests were able to participate in special activities in the classrooms. First grade hosted a 50's Sock Hop and third grade hosted a tea party, just to name a few. Students were also able to take their grandparents to the book fair, a photo booth, and lunch. Whenever there was downtime, a relaxing lounge with coffee, tea, and goodies awaited the grandparents. We saw guests come from near and far...we even had a grandpa travel all the way from New York!
