We believe that industry and education are willing to work collaboratively together to align educational initiatives with real life applications in the manufacturing sector. With that being said, we would like to invite you to the second annual Manufacturing and Education Alliance Golf Outing and Corn Hole Tournament (for those who would prefer not to golf) so that we can learn a little more about one another’s profession. Each team would have representatives from industry and education with prizes awarded for various contests.
ENSC will pay the registration fees for one golf and one cornhole team. If you are interested, let Steve know.
Two weeks left; that’s right, 10 days…
Thanks in advance for your continued presence, patience, and help during this “week before the week.”
-Sgt. Dixon will be out of the building all week. Officer Sherer is standing by as needed.
-Wednesday, 5/18, during academic lab, the following stuff will be “going down”:
First, the schedule for that day…
Now, the tests that will be occurring during a-lab on Wednesday, and stay with me: There are multiple tests.
· 9th graders who ARE NOT in an English or Math class for Trimester 3 will be NWEA testing; teachers who are administering the tests are all set; those of you who will have students that need to test will be notified who the students are, along with where they will need to be going.
· ISTEP Pilot will be administered at this same time. Teachers will be notified as to who is administering and which students will be testing.
· One more, but not a test: During this same academic lab we will be taking the Senior picture. More info to follow.
Please note the request/suggestion/order that students do NOT leave their academic lab; it is easy to see with so much going on, that those who aren’t testing or having pictures taken will accomplish nothing positive by being in the hallway. As always, thank you for your cooperation and help during this very busy time!
Please take extra care to be in your duty area; there have been people not in assigned duty areas and we’ve had incidents that could have been prevented with adult presence. Thanks for closing the year out strong!
Have a terrific week!
