Tiered Tasks in Math
Did you know...
- Tiered two tasks as nonnegotiable, every student must have access to tiered two. Use the data to understand if students will then need tiered one or three.
- Tiered tasks are not meant to be graded.
- Use tiered tasks during shared learning/small group or customized instructional time.
- Keep data (excel sheet) on how students are doing with tiered tasks, score them for data (1-4) but do not put in grade book.
- Pre-assessments are to be used
- Pearson should support tiered tasks, not take the place of one
- See tiered task/lesson paper to see when tasks should be used, all should be done!
