North High student named National Merit Scholar
Lucas Haindfield, a North High student, was awarded one of the 2022 National Merit Scholarships. Congratulations to Lucas for being selected as a finalist!

Castle Elementary Fun Run 2022
Castle Elementary held their annual Fun Run, where they raised $19,324 this year. We are proud of the students and staff's work to pull this off. Some highlight photos from the event are shared via the video below.

Golden Prom 2022
After a two-year hiatus, the Golden Prom returned in 2022. This community event for senior citizens is hosted annually by North and Tartan students and District 622 Community Education and includes dinner, a band, dancing, and lots of intergenerational socializing.
Early Learning Dance Party
Over 500 people attended the District 622 Early Learning year-end celebration dance party on May 26 at Casey Lake Park.

The 622 Education Foundation Award of Excellence 2022 Tartan & North High
Tartan (May 18, 2022) and North High (May 25, 2022) celebrated 30 award winners at each school. The 622 Education Foundation Award of Excellence is a distinction awarded to graduating students who stand out in one of the following characteristics: community, courage, imagination, achievement, integrity, and resilience.
