Association for Language Learning
for languages undergraduates
Welcome to your subject community, languages undergraduates!
Have you decided on your future career yet? Are you thinking of becoming a language teacher, and want to find out a bit more about careers in languages education? Or do you simply love languages, and want to hear about all the latest language news, events and opportunities? Sounds like you should be a part of ALL...
What is ALL?
The Association for Language Learning (ALL) is the major subject association for those involved in teaching foreign languages at all levels. We not only exist to represent teachers of all languages, all levels and all sectors but we're also here to support trainee teachers and languages undergraduates who are considering teaching as a career option.
What ALL can do for you:
- Training and networking: Looking to get a head start with your teaching career? ALL provides training courses and networking events through our branches and networks across the country where you can meet, seek advice from languages teachers and find out about opportunities available within the education sector.
- Keep updated: Want to know the latest on the world of languages and teaching? Get regular updates, ideas, information and inspiration from our weekly ALLNet e-bulletin, our termly Languages Today magazines and other publications.
You can join as a student associate member for just £20 per year, or £30 for two years.
ALL for university language societies
If you run a language society at your university then please email us to find out how ALL can work with you.
And have you heard about Language World?
