Greeting from Mrs. Snowbarger - Central Counselor
Hello Families & Friends!
I am Gail Snowbarger and proud to be Central’s School Counselor! I am so excited to be spending another school year with all of you! The kids are really getting into the swing of things and shining bright as Central Cougars.
I have been in education since 2001 and spent many years as a music teacher. This is my sixth year as a school counselor and I couldn't love my career more. My husband, Craig and I have been married for six years and we have three wonderful children who keep us busy and laughing most of the time! Garon is enjoying Kindergarten this year and the twins, Cavet and Caris, are busy two-year olds, who run around the house playing all day!
I have loved spending time welcoming all and meeting our newest Cougars! I so enjoy getting to meet with each class every other week for a 30-minute lesson. The topics of the lessons will be based on National and District curriculum and standards surrounding the domains of social-emotional, academic, and college/career readiness development!
Additionally, I meet with individuals and small groups of students to support friendships, conflict/resolutions, emotional challenges, family transitions, etc. I am a safe person and my office is welcome to all!
Finally, I love to support YOU however needed! Please feel free to contact me should you need any support and assistance for your family! I have a wide variety of resources and I am here to help! I would love to connect with you during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, needs, or concerns!
Warmly,
Gail Snowbarger,
Central Counselor
