A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
November is my favorite month of the year! The theme for November is thankfulness. It’s a time when everyone hits the pause button in their busy lives and reflects on what it means to be thankful. I am thankful for so much! I am thankful every day to come to our school. I am thankful for the privilege to work with caring, hardworking teachers and staff. I am thankful for our kind students and supportive parents. Be thankful for the time with family and friends this holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!
Smile and Be Kind,
Mrs. Murphy

SAFETY FIRST-PARENT MORNING DROP OFF
Here are a few reminders to keep the parent drop off line in the morning moving smoothly and safely:
- Please wait in line. We ask that you not pull around the car line and wait in front of the school.
- Pull all the way to the end of the sidewalk.
- Remain in your vehicle.
- Children should be ready to get out once the car has come to a complete stop.
- Students should be dropped off in the line, not in the parking lot.
- Students should not walk unaccompanied through the parking lot.
Thank you for your cooperation!

CAUGHT READING
Fall is here and the weather will be cooling off soon, hopefully... What’s better than curling up with a good book? Parents, if you “catch” your child reading, be sure to snap a picture and send it in so your child can be featured on our “Caught Reading” board! ‘Caught Reading’ pictures are displayed on the first board as you enter the breezeway of our school. Simply snap a picture of your child reading anywhere outside of school. It could be at the park, the beach, the pool, or just relaxing at home. Email the picture to Mrs. Campbell at Nicolecc@leeschools.net. Please also include your child’s name, grade, and class. To make it on the board this semester, please submit your child’s picture by November 18th. We love seeing their pictures and your children love seeing themselves and their friends on display. We appreciate your encouragement of reading as students discover that books take us to new places!
