Childhood Cancer Awareness Month - Gold Day Wednesday
To help us recognize Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we will have a Gold Day on Wednesday, September 28th. We are asking our campus to wear gold and bring $1 to help donate to family’s in our area that are dealing with a child with cancer. If your child wears gold (yellow) and brings $1 their name will be included in a drawing for prizes. Thank you in advance for your support!

Box Tops for Education
WBE participates in Box Tops for Education. How can you help? Clip the Box Top from hundreds of participating products and send them to school. Each one is worth 10¢ when the school redeems them from Box Tops for Education.
Box Tops are collected throughout the year – so bring them! But, we will do special counts throughout the year for prizes!
First count date: October 7th – the person in each grade level that has the MOST box tops will receive a wrist band ( can be used for games, bounce houses, and more!) and coupons for the Fall Festival! (Any box tops dropped off after October 7th will be counted for the January Prize).
If your child wants to participate in the contest for the most box tops for each grade level he/she must:
- Clip box tops to fit into a plastic zip lock bag/large envelope
- LABEL the bag/envelope with CHILD’S NAME, GRADE, TEACHER
- Drop off the labels with their teacher or drop off box tops in the designated Box Tops Box in the main office.
To learn more, visit boxtops4education.com-and thanks for choosing to make a difference for our school with Box Tops!
