Principal's Message:
It's Beginning to Feel Like Fall
WAVE learners have the opportunity to practice time management, organization, communication, and learner agency on a daily basis. Practicing these skills will help you be a successful adult in whatever path you pursue in the future.
Questions to consider for continued success:
1. Do I know my teachers' office hours?
2. Have a connected with my teacher?
3. If I have questions about course content, do I advocate for myself to increase learning?
4. Do I know how to use tutor.com?
5. Have I attended in person learning opportunities at the WAVE Learning Center?
6. Am I on pace with course assignments?
If you have any questions, let either your teacher or our office know.
Happy Fall!

Hot Spots
Hot Spots
The Wausau School District is able to provide families who are lacking adequate internet connectivity with a US Cellular Hotspot. To obtain a Hotspot, a parent or guardian will need to complete and return a WiFi Hotspot Contract. Once a completed contract is received by your child’s school, a hotspot can be checked out from your child’s school.
Key Points:
Hotspots are for school work and instruction only - no personal use
They are filtered in the same manner as school-issued devices
Hotspots can be checked out for the entire school year
They must be returned in good working order, damage free, and with all components
Damaged and unreturned hotspots will result in a fee of $99.00
Missing charging components will result in a fee of $25.00
If you are interested in obtaining a US Cellular Hotspot, please contact our office or return a completed WiFi Hotspot Contract to your child’s school.
Thank you,
