AP Test Updates
We will provide related follow-up information shortly.
The registration deadline for AP tests has been moved to Monday, March 6. Test takers must register through this link: https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/110162. All payments must be made online using a credit or debit card - you will not be able to pay in-person at Druid Hills High.
We do have limited funding for students taking multiple tests with financial need. Please contact Mr. Alexander for more information.
English, Math, Science, Social Studies Teachers - RtI Webinar Completion Reminder
As DCSD continue to build academic supports through Response to Intervention (RTI), the District purchased Skills Navigator to help with progress monitoring. We will use Skills Navigator as a progress monitoring tool to assess students' response to supports in areas of academic skill deficits. Below you will find a links to the required District Webinar that you are required to watch and the electronic sign off for the webinar. The webinar is less than 5 mins in length. Please complete this task by Thursday, 2/16.

Athletic Accolades
Congrats to DHHS Wrestlers DeShuan Baker (5th) and Demarco Mosley (4th) for placing in this weekend's State Wrestling Tournament.
- Congrats to our boys' basketball team, 2017 Region 4-4A Tournament Runner-Up. The Red Devils will host Perry in the first round of the state playoffs Saturday, February 18.
Congrats, Ms. Robinson!
Ms. Robinson has been awarded the Atlanta Branch, English-Speaking Union, Teachers Learning Abroad Scholarship for study in the United Kingdom this summer. This is the most prestigious award given by a branch. She is awarded up to $5000 for her trip to England.

ACT-SO Competition
The NAACP's Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics is a yearlong achievement program designed to recruit, stimulate, and encourage high academic and cultural achievement among African-American high school students.
ACT-SO includes 29 competitions in STEM, humanities, business, and performing, visual and culinary arts. Almost 300,000 young people have participated from the program since its inception.

P.R.I.D.E. Driver Education Classes
P.R.I.D.E. is a free, two-hour course from the Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute (GTIPI) designed to help parents and their new teen drivers, ages 14-16, learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time (40) hours of supervised practice driving time is required, if the teen successfully completes driver’s education.

Study Hall & PM Bus Reminders
Druid Hills offers a 5:20 sweep bus for students participating in 5th Period, Study Hall, or Teacher tutorials on Mondays (usually departs at 5:00), Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Students will need a pass from their teacher to board.
