Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our Green Bean Challenge of 2021. Frontline Mission is grateful for the green bean bonanza! If you haven't contributed yet, we are still collecting until Friday, Feburary 26.

Yearbooks are on Sale Now

The deadline for pre-ordering yearbooks this year is March 19. You can purchase them via School Cash Online or fill out the paper order form. Order forms were sent home today.

FTA Meeting on Thursday

The next Family Teacher Association Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 25 at 7 PM.

Check out the Larson Elementary PTA Facebook page for information and links to the meeting. There is a lot to talk about as Spring is approaching!

Battle of the Books

Congratulations to our teams that represented Larson at the District Virtual Battle of the Books earlier this month:

Third/Fourth Grade Teammates:

Wyatt Lund, Xander Carlson, Ainsley Gorn, Addison Dowling. Alternate was Natiley Robinson.

Fifth/Sixth Grade Teammates:

Tyler Stephens-Dombroski, TJ O’Malley and Austin Hill.

Coaches: Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Kinney.

Our teams did an outstanding job of representing themselves, their classrooms and our school!


This Disrtrict Math Derby was held on January 22 and participants competed virtually.

Congratulations to our Larson Team for winning the Spirit Award!

Reading Incentive: Read, Read, Read!

Each class will be totalling the number of minutes read (at home) from Monday, March 1-Thursday March 4. Individual Reading Logs will be coming home from your classroom teacher. There will be prizes for each grade level winner and a prize for the student who read the most minutes in each grade level. Now’s the time to pick out some good books and get ready to read next week!

3rd Quarter Title 1 Event is sure to be YUMMY!

In conjunction with our Read Across America Spirit Week; on Tuesday, March 2nd we will be sending home a bundle of goodies!

Each family will receive a packet to participate in our PANCAKES WITH PARENTS event.

No matter what type of guardian you are, we hope you will enjoy making pancakes with your family and reading a good book! Please take a minute to snap a picture of your family making/eating pancakes and/or reading and we’ll post them on the website! You can send your photos to Khris is our Title 1 Coordinator and she's excited to share your photos with our community.

In addition, check the website on Friday, March 5th to see if your ticket (enclosed in the packet) has won your family a special prize.

Be sure to read the enclosed documents for great information about reading and doing math with your kids.

Spring Break is fast approaching!

No School on March 8-12 for Spring Break.

No School on Monday, March 15 as it is a Teacher Workday
