SSC Family Groups!

We had a lot of fun meeting our school family groups today! Ask your children about this exciting time! Each family group is made up of cross grade-level classes and the extra teachers and staff at SSC. Today we had a kick-off and then spent some time getting to know our families. Family groups will get together several times during the year for fun activities! Be sure to check out our FaceBook page for more pictures!

SSC Expectations

As we get the year started we have been talking to the students about the SSC expectations. We have held assemblies to review the school-wide expectations and each lass has held class meetings to discuss class expectations. Each morning we remind the students that

SSC jr Bus are: Respectful, Responsible, Problem Solvers and Safe.

We have posters all around the school to help serve as reminders. Each class also will read different books each month that will connect back to the expectations. Ask your child about the SSC expectations!

Students of the Month- Respectful

As part of our PBIS (Positive Behavior Plan), we will recognize students each month who have shown outstanding character and/or have shown great growth in their behavior choices. This month we have focused on Respectful! All of the faculty and staff have the opportunity to nominate students who they have seen exemplify respectful behavior.
