Jean Vanier: Our School's namesake

“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn't as individuals. When we pool our strength and share the work and responsibility, we can welcome many people, even those in deep distress, and perhaps help them find self-confidence and inner healing.”

Cereal Drive

We are a generous community at Jean Vanier and we have discovered a local school in need. The students at Ben Calfe Robe in Edmonton have a daily breakfast program, and they are running short on their cereal supply. Over the next week, we are collecting unopened boxes of healthy cereal to feed their hungry tummies. For every box of cereal your child donates, their name will be put into a draw for a chance to win a morning cereal snack with Mr. Marshall and Mrs. Rafuse! Please avoid sugary “treat” cereal. Cereal with nuts is welcome. If you have a larger vehicle and are able to deliver the donations for us, please contact the office.
