How to Contact Powell
Will your child be absent from school or need to make a transportation change?
Please make sure to send an email to ContactPowell@ConroeISD.net. Any other email address (such as the teacher's or Registrar's) may be missed! That individual might be out of school for the day, and it will never be acknowledged.
The ContactPowell email address is monitored throughout the day by staff and is the best way to reach us. Also, we cannot take transportation changes over the phone - they must be done in person or by email with your Photo ID attached to that email for security reasons.
If your child is absent, you can send an additional email to the teacher to see about make up work, but it cannot replace contacting us at the Contact Powell email or by calling our front office line at 936-709-1700.

PTO News
Hello Powell Families!!!
We will be holding a yearbook cover design contest for our fourth grade students and we would like you to select the yearbook theme for this year!
How can you help? We would like to invite you, our Powell community, to join our poll and vote on your favorite theme for the yearbook. When we have a winning vote, 4th grade will receive a template outline and will have time to draw our cover for us. Once the yearbook committee narrows the submissions down to the top designs, grades K-3 will vote on their favorite. The 1st place winner will have their drawing on the full cover of this year’s yearbook! The 2nd place winner will go on the front inside cover and the 3rd place winner will go on the back inside cover.
The 3 yearbook theme options are listed below:
Game board -Pride Panther (Our school mascot) wants to be in a game. Invent your own game board! You can have lava pits, crocodiles, gummy bears, mermaids, pirates, etc. Think of your favorite game you like to play and how you would want to improve it or completely make up your own.
Under The Sea- Pride Panther would love to explore the waters below. What areas would you like to explore under the sea? Would you look for a coral reef, treasure, a shipwreck, or maybe even a school of fish? Whatever that may be, draw an underwater seascape of your perfect vision.
Pride Panther Comic Book- Pride Panther would love to see herself as a superhero. Draw a scene from your favorite book or make your own up. Pride loves to skate, dance, help those in need, read, ride bikes, run and swim. She plays soccer and loves to cheer on her feeder schools like CP and TWH. What else could you imagine Pride doing?
Click on the link below and vote on your favorite theme. Poll closes @ 6pm Monday 9/4/23.
