TRY A TRADE
As part of the Careers Development Program, students in year 10 participated in a three-day trade experience focussing on painting and plumbing at MPA Skills in Jandakot. Try a Trade provides a unique opportunity to give a trade a go to determine if it is an occupation they may further explore. MPA skills offer a range of programs to assist young people to follow in Plumbing and Painting careers.
Try a Trade opportunities provide a great way for students to have a go at a range of trades to see if they have the skills and aptitude for a particular trade. It can help to cement career plans and help in the decision making when it comes to courses in years 11 and 12.
