Welcome to our CTS Snapshot - a weekly celebration update. We are delighted to share with parents and carers alike student triumphs at Corby Technical School. We are proud of every student and every success they have - please feel free to share with us any achievements they might have.

Stars of the Week:

Students:


  • Mr Rogers has nominated the Year 7 football for an amazing performance this week in a tournament held at Kettering Science Academy. The team won 3 games and lost 1, well done to you all!
  • Mr Cox has nominated the Year 10 Drama students for fantastic work on their portfolios this week.
  • Miss McGrath has nominated Year 11 students Jack and Lewis for the brilliant Biology mock results and also 7TE for some brilliant work in the cleaning dirty water practical this week. Most practicals worked and the students were able to use the different methods of separation.
  • Mrs Brown would like to congratulate Year 13 student Kacper for completing an essay which earned him full marks, the essay was on Seamus Heaney.
  • Mr Harley has nominated Year 7 student Zsofia and Year 8 student Kieran for fantastic work in Design and Technology.
  • Mrs Brightwell has nominated the Year 11 Chemistry students for their work on completing accurate titrations to find the amount of citric acid in orange juice.
  • Mrs van der Lith has nominated her Year 8 Maths group, they have worked really hard and everyone earned points for their excellent effort.
  • Mr Godfrey has nominated Year 13 students Bartosz and Frederico for delivering great astrophysics presentations.
