Spring into Health
Join us in a friendly competition
We would like to invite you to join us in a friendly competition to take back our health! Join us in participating in our first ever Keystone Biggest Loser competition! This is a great opportunity to find motivation and accountability if you are looking for some help to get started on your health goals!
When do we start?
The competition starts on April 1st with our starting weigh-in that morning, and lasts until June 3rd.
How does it work?
We will weigh-in on Friday mornings in the break room. This is an individual competition, so you will not have to weigh-in in front of any team members if you do not wish to. We will also have a measuring tape for you to measure around your waist (at the belly button). You can then record your measurement and weight loss percentage* on a spreadsheet Aubree has.
Wager and Winning
If you would like to participate, please bring your $10 wager to Aubree by March 30th. At the end of the competition, prizes will be awarded!
1st Place receives 75% of the pot
2nd Place receives 15% of the pot
3rd Place receives 10% of the pot
*Using the percentage of body weight lost method treats everyone equally. Somebody who weighs less than 150 has as much of a chance at winning as somebody who weighs over 150 when the weight they lose is calculated as a percentage of their body weight.
If you have any other questions, please see Julie, Sara, Aubree, or Michelle.
GOOD LUCK!!

Recipe Corner
It's getting to be spring time, which means more fruits and veggies are coming into season! Fruit can be a delicious alternative to sugary snacks. If you are looking for a yummy treat to combat a sweet craving, or just a sweet addition to a picnic, give this fresh* fruit cocktail a go!
What you need:
2 oranges
1 pineapple
Whipped cream**
Remove top of pineapple and use pineapple cutter to remove core and outside of pineapple. Cut pineapple into bite sized pieces. Next peel orange and remove segments. Divide pineapple chunks among a few 10 ounce cups. Top with a few of the orange segments and then some of the whipped cream.
*While fresh fruit is best, if you do opt for an alternative, choosing frozen is the next best option. If you do get canned fruits, make sure they are in 100% juice.
**Whipped cream in the can or homemade is the best option here as cool whip is made with oils and high fructose corn syrup
