Week of 8/21/23 - 8/25/23
Dear Viking Families,
It was a wonderful week filled with students learning about school routines, academics, behavior expectations, and showing our school pride. Every FRIDAY is VIKING spirit day. Students are encouraged to wear their Viking shirt or school colors. Valley View will also have random-themed dress-up days throughout the school year. Wednesday, 8/30/23 will be our first themed dress-up day; Western Day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear something Western. Remember, the school dress code and rules still apply. Parents, please make sure your child does not bring any toy/fake weapons to enhance their Western dress-up attire. Once all the first semester dress-up days have been finalized, we will share them with you. Step It Up fundraiser kick-off will take place on Monday, 8/28/23. Students will bring home information regarding the fundraiser on that day. If you ever need clarification or have a question, please call the Valley View main office for assistance at 805-520-6820.
