Dragon Wishes
Please consider fulfilling Dragon Wishes for our teachers as a holiday gift. I know we have several teacher that have needs, and please consider including the Specials, GT and SPED teachers. We appreciate your support SO MUCH!

We will put the lost and found items out this week. I will ask teachers to take their classes by to look, and if you think your child is missing something, please come take a look.

Montessori: The Science Behind the Genius
On January 31st, Dr. Angeline Lillard will be speaking at SMU.
Angeline Lillard, Ph.D., is a developmental psychologist at the University of Virginia who was recently awarded an IES grant to continue her studies of the outcomes of Montessori education, particularly among public and low socioeconomic students. Talk is at 7:00 pm followed by a dessert reception and book signing at 8:30 pm.

Garrett for her students' excellent performance at UIL.
Davila for outstanding work in preparation, implementation and evaluation of Science Fair. Especially while 6th graders were making Roller Coasters! These projects promote inquiry and deep understanding of scientific concepts and processes.
Dr. Schmidt for his students' excellent performance at Regional Choir.
Ms. Bourenane for her work the robotics team. We have several qualified teams and a couple more working.
Lavat, Latchem, and Hanley for excellent Math instruction. Your students are so excited about learning Math!
Henderson for ALL of her work preparing for ACP tests.
