Dear families,
Also look for writing projects in your child’s Friday Folder: a Chinese Lunar Calendar, w/ a personal twist. The children had to analyze the characteristics of some animals, w/ adjectives; Then, they had to compare/contrast, whether the adjectives “fit” 1st themselves, &/or a friend. It reinforced how we are all different; everyone has attributes. Older students had an extra challenge of coming up w/ similes. So: analysis/synthesis/evaluation, along w/ grammar & other language structures!!!
The weather has been cold; do your best to keep “digital” (“screen”) time to a minimum, for your children. Thank you.
