ALMA - New Parent Portal
STARTS NEXT WEEK
Look for Enrollment Directions
The Nobel Learning Communities schools located in North Carolina, such as ourselves, will be piloting our new ALMA Online Parent Portal starting next week.
The program has many highlights for our parents, including:
- Access to view online balances/statements
- Ability to download tax documents from previous/current years
- Sign up/make banking information changes for ACH withdrawals (AUTO PAY) *
- Pay your invoices using credit card or checking account **
- Update contact information
- View Emergency Contact Information and update as needed
- Starting February 2018, invoices will not be sent by our company to you. You will need to access this information online using ALMA.
- If you have pre-paid for the year, your credit balance will be applied to your monthly tuition account each month manually by our office.
* All parents are required to register for ACH (Auto Pay) if you have not paid in full or are on bi-yearly payments unless you have spoken with me directly.
** There is a 2% processing fee for the company running the transaction is applied for the use of credit cards. This information is outlined in the Privacy Statement, but I want to make sure you are aware of these charges as well.
What's Not Changing With ALMA?
With this extraordinary program comes many advantages for you to take full control of your payments and invoices directly. However, there are some procedures which will not apply to ALMA during this initial roll out period:
- All After-School Clubs will still need to be paid by personal check at time of registering until next academic year.
- All weekly lunches (just for the remainder of this year) will need to be paid by check/cash/credit card. Next academic year we will be able to invoice lunches and they can be paid online with ALMA.
What Do You Do Now?
Be on the lookout for an email from our Marketing Department which will be sent to the Primary Parent's email on Monday, January 8 - Tuesday, January 9. You will then be given instructions on how to set up your account and create a password.
Our office will NOT have access to your passwords so please make sure you create a unique password which only you will remember. One account per family will be available to view. The main user will need to share the log-in information with any other party interested in the account.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate in letting me know. I am very excited about this program and giving direct access to our parents in handling their accounts.
Another great program in which our school is listening to our parents to continue moving Chesterbrook families to success!
Take care.
