Parent Volunteers Needed for New Tech Gives Back

New Tech Gives Back is a community service field trip that happens on Wednesday, November 20th from 9-2. On this field trip learners will be traveling to various community service locations throughout the DFW metroplex. We need parent chaperones to lead groups of 10-15 at each of the locations. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Chloe Spellicy (cspellicy@newtech.coppellisd.com)

New Learners for 2020-2021

I feel like I start talking about this earlier and earlier every year, but our calls into the school for next school are already increasing so we are getting this information out now. Please go to the website for all information related to next year. If you have a legacy learner, the application can also be found through this main link. If you don't have another learner arriving but have a friend who is interested... please pass this on!

Front Loop Parking Reminder

Please be aware that we have a couple of reserve parking spots in the front loop for learners. These are parking spots that they bid on and paid for at our annual Spring Fling and we need your help to honor that. Please be advised that some learners have early and late release and so an open reserved spot may mean the learner has not arrived to school yet.

Thank you!

Seniors, College Apps, and Naviance

Seniors,

Please take some time to review your Naviance list of "Colleges I am Applying to" and also your College list within Common App. If you have any Common App schools that you are applying to, then please make sure they are listed in BOTH places. If you are no longer applying to a school that was once listed, then please remove it from your lists.

Within your Naviance list, please update how you plan to apply. Make one of the actual selections and do not select the option "I don't know".

You also need to make sure that you match your Common App and Naviance accounts. Instructions can be found HERE.

Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks,

Kennington
