Reading
This week in Reading we are talking about fact and opinion. A fact is something that you can prove. An opinion is something that you think that can't be proven. We played a game called Kahoot and learned more about fact and opinion. When we meet with Mrs. Goodlow, we made games or read articles to practice fact and opinion.

Math
In Math, we are learning about centimeters and millimeters. We made rulers with cm on one side and mm on the other side. On the cm it has all the decimals in the middle which stands for half. So if it is half, it will have the whole number, then the decimal which is .5.

Social Studies
Social Studies is fun. We were doing a presentation about the Bill of Rights. It was fun hearing about people's opinions on the important amendments. It took a long time for us to be done because we needed to work together but we did it!

Next Week
Next week we will begin Unit 5 in Math. In Unit 5 we will be learning and practicing ways to multiply double and triple digit numbers, estimating and reading big numbers.
In Reading, we will be focusing on the skills of finding main idea and details as well as inferring. The story of the week is called "So You Want to be President?" and we will be writing a persuasive essay. After Thanksgiving, we will begin our new unit in Science.
