Dear Parents,

Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences are a great opportunity for you to connect with your child’s teacher about their learning. Students are encouraged to attend along with parents to offer a clear circle of feedback. This year, conferences will be held virtually on Thursday, February 17th from 1:30-6:30pm and Friday, February 18th from 8:30am-12:00pm. To schedule a conference with a teacher, click on the name below. Calendly will automatically set up a Google Meet for the time you select. If there are no available time slots, please email the teacher to set up another time to conference. We look forward to collaborating with our families!

From The Transportation Department...

February is Love the Bus Month.

Since 2007, American School Bus Council (ASBC) has celebrated the school bus’ influence on learning through stories that span the nation. Each February, we invite students, schools, and educators to celebrate Love the Bus Month and highlight the important role that the yellow school bus plays in their communities. It's a time we pause to show appreciation for the school bus drivers who safely transport more than 25 million children to and from school every day.

In Mr. Bonner's sculpture class, students discussed and practiced specific terms like "subtractive", "dimension", "uniformity", and, "texture" as they began the planning and design process of their new project. Students were tasked with measurement and mathematical problem solving while they began that creative process of designing a box that fits specific criteria.

From The World Language Department...

Spanish I students were learning about the difference between “want” and “need”, learning how some things are essential and some other things are not. They came up with these amazing thought boards where they showcased their wants and needs in their own words.

Mr. Talbott is a terrific math teacher at the High School. He was willing and eager to help this student with her math homework at the same time he was keeping score for the basketball game! Thank you for everything you do for our students and school.
