Dear Parents,
We are excited about celebrating this Holiday Season at Creekview on December 19th! As always, our parents are welcome to volunteer to support students in practicing social and emotional learning objectives such as: empathy, gratitude, patience, interpersonal communication, etc. Parents who are planning to attend will be referred to and recognized as “volunteers” in the spirit of collaboration and community, working together to create excellent learning experiences for our children.
(Party Times: KDG, 2nd and 4th: 1:00PM; 1st, 3rd and 5th 2:00PM)
For the safety of our students, and to avoid long lines in the front office on the day of our parties, we are providing an opportunity for volunteers to pre-register. Volunteers who have not pre-registered will be asked to sign-in as normal. This could result in a congested front office and a long wait.
Parent Volunteers/Visitors:
Parking will be available at Lone Star College.
All volunteers will be required to check in through the V-Soft Visitor Management System.
Volunteers who have had their Texas ID scanned this school year at Creekview Elementary, please complete the Christmas Party Pre-registration Form (bit.ly/CESPARTY2019) by Tuesday, Dec. 15th. (Please complete one form per student; limit 2 visitors per student please)
Volunteers who have not had their Texas ID scanned this school year at Creekview Elementary, may:
have ID scanned before Dec. 15th to avoid the long line in the front office
have ID scanned the day of the party
All volunteers must be prepared to present a Photo ID even if pre-registered.
Dismissal: Parents may sign students out of school after the party in the classroom through the teacher.
All volunteers must exit the campus at the end of the party.
Parents will receive a ticket from their teacher and be allowed to leave the classroom with their student. All exits will be supervised by staff and may be used.
Any uncertainties regarding this process will be directed to the front office to ensure student safety.
Regular dismissal procedures will begin at 3:45 pm.
As always, if your child has permission to be dismissed with someone other than a parent, it must be stated in writing. Please submit a signed note, including your contact information, to your child’s homeroom teacher. Feel free to contact me with questions, concerns and feedback
