Welcome to the month of April! In less than 8 weeks, the 2021-2022 will come to a close. However, until the official last of of school for students - Thursday, May 26, 2022, our students have two months filled with statewide (FSA, EOCs) and schoolwide assessments. Therefore, every day counts and it is important that your child is at school. Also, we highly encourage your child in Grades 3-11 to attend Saturday school. During those three hours on Saturdays, the students will review and practice for the upcoming FSA, EOCs.

As a reminder, the testing schedule of the upcoming assessments and the Saturday school schedule are included in this newsletter one more time. Please mark these important dates on your own personal calendar to encourage your student to do his/her best on those days.

In the month of April, there will be only three (3) Saturday schools. There are two (2) more in May. April Dates are as follows:

Classes start at 8:45 am and end at 12:00 pm.

We would like to keep you updated about TEAM SUCCESS’ accreditation status. As of the date of this letter, Team Success has yet to be accredited by a national or regional accrediting organization, though the school is actively pursuing it.

In October 2021, TEAM SUCCESS completed a successful READINESS REVIEW with COGNIA, the accreditation agency. Based on their review, COGNIA determined that "TEAM SUCCESS - A School of Excellence is a candidate for Accreditation with NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI". Please see copy of letter below.

On April 18 - April 20, 2022, TEAM SUCCESS will hold an ENGAGEMENT REVIEW with COGNIA, the final step in the accreditation process. We are proud of our students’ achievements and look forward to highlighting them during the review. The school will receive COGNIA'S decision about TEAM SUCCESS' accreditation status in June 2022. We are confident that the school will earn this valuable distinction through COGNIA. The accreditation status is retroactive which means that all seniors of the Class of 2022 would be graduating from an accredited school.

PLEASE NOTE:

Graduation from a non-accredited high school may impact college admissions, financial aid availability and scholarships, military enlistment, and employment opportunities. However, Team Success is held to the same accountability standards as other public schools in the state and has consistently shown a high level of achievement.
