MLC Newsletter

We have a few important safety announcements. Next week we will be having an Earthquake drill. It's always a good idea to review your own personal and family emergency planning. The Make-A-Plan website has lots of great resources. While writing this newsletter, I started looking through the website and printed the wallet-size emergency communication plan for my family. Also, make sure your school emergency contacts are updated. Email Marie Petrasy (mpetrasy@pps.net) if you need to make any changes.
PTSA will be hosting a Health and Safety Night at MLC from 6:30-8:00pm on April 18th. There will be presentations from Be Smart , a Cares NW Prevention Educator, and more. Childcare is available, but please plan to eat before you come.
We are looking for a few volunteers to help with the PPS Clothing Closet 9:30-1:30 April 19th at Marshall Campus. Contact mlcptsapresident@gmail.com if you can help out
Have a great week!

MLC Community Craft Faire - Vendors Needed
On May 3rd from 3:45-6:15 the PTSA is hosting the MLC Community Craft Faire. Students can sell their items without paying a fee. Adult sellers (community members or outside artists) would agree to a $20 donation to PTSA as part of their application fee. This will give us an estimate of the number of tables needed. All applicants will complete a short Google form to let us know more about the items they will sell and to RSVP for a table. RSVP April 26th. They can provide their own card swiping capabilities or accept cash on a per person basis.
- Fee: http://www.mlcptsa.org/store/p39/Vendor_Table_Fee_.html (fee payment is linked at the end of the application form)
- Application: https://goo.gl/forms/kD0RPAwTHZPfduld2
We do need help with choosing other activities and concessions to offer and booking volunteers to staff those areas. Check the PTSA website for more information.
