Children are in dangerous work areas and can get injured easily.
"Life in a factory is perhaps with the exception of prison the most monotonous life a human can live". Breaker boys inhales coal dust which damages lungs. They work for for 50 or 60 cents a day. Children had to work for bosses that only cared about money.
