Library Link

March 2018

Director's Note

“When I got [my] library card, that was when my life began.”
Rita Mae Brown

We were so honored to welcome Girl Scout Daisy Troop 709 to the library a couple of weeks ago! Miss Kelli taught them about being a good citizen and a good library patron. The girls were able to get a library card on the spot if their parent was with them and all the rest of the girls were sent home with library card applications.

Check out the amazing pictures from the teen’s Murder Mystery Dinner! The event was so popular that we had to have two nights! Everyone had a great time. Please thank Johnny and Mike’s Pizza for the amazing support they give the library when we feed hungry teenagers! And I am so impressed with our YAC members this year. They have worked so hard on their events. If you know one of our YAC members, have a conversation with them about their projects. They are doing amazing things!

Spring break is coming up! And shortly after we will hold our Spring Stuffed Animal Sleepover. Keep an eye out on Facebook and for posters in the library for exact dates and times. This is one of our biggest events during the school year. If you have a child toddler-3rd grade you won’t want to miss it!

Kelli recently told the local Girl Scout Troop what the library was all about.
