The Blue Angel Weekly
July 10, 2023
Dear PCA Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you enjoying your summer!
We are ONE MONTH AWAY from the first day of school!
We have been working hard to prepare for the 2023-2024 school year! We are continuing to paint the exterior of the building and it is looking fresh and clean in the courtyard! We have also replaced carpets in some of the classrooms. Our air ducts went through a much needed cleaning as well!
If you know anyone who may be interested in working at our Angels After Hours after school program, please let me know! We are in need of assistance most days after school from 3:00 to about 6:00. Here is the link to apply:

***attention scholarship families****
All families (current and new) who were awarded a scholarship MUST meet with us to review school policies, per the state scholarship guidelines. We will send out the updated handbook and Code of Conduct for you to review PRIOR to the meetings, but it is MANDATORY, per state guidelines, that we meet IN PERSON PRIOR TO the start of school. Since we have a large number of families to meet with, we are limiting these initial meetings to 15 minutes each. If you need additional time for questions, we would be happy to schedule a second meeting with you after the start of school. Please be on time for your meeting as the schedule is very tight! Thank you for understanding!!

Security Updates for the 2023-2024 school year
Since April, we have been paying for police presence on campus. We made arrangements with the SJCSO to have deputies sign up on their off days to be at PCA. This has worked out very well, and we now have several deputies that have become familiar with our campus.
We have made arrangements for this to continue for the 2023-2024 school year. While the cost is high, we feel that this is a definite need for the safety and security of our students and staff.
Parent Workshop coming to St. Paul's at the Beach
Celebrate Calm is coming to St. Paul's at the Beach.

Kirk Martin will be at St. Paul's Beach on August 24th 6:00 pm for a parent workshop. Mark your calendars! More details as the date approaches.
