Brewster Weekly
March 25, 2022
We are here to do good things for our students, our coworkers, and our community.
We represent qualities such as love, hope, kindness, respect, and responsibility.
Our culture mirrors those attributes. Let’s continue to make our school the best place to work and learn where everyone is inspired to be the best they can be. What we do, we do well.
Let’s keep the courage to shape a bright future for our students.

Media Update
Media Update by Mrs. O'Rourke March 2022
It has been a great deal of fun to celebrate March is Reading Month! Thank you to all who participated, from being a surprise reader to helping create fun character costumers! But wait, there’s more😊
Soon it will be Authors in April! We have been loving reading all of the authors’ books in Media. You may purchase books for your child to keep, which can autographed, through the PTA toolkit. Also, save the date for the Authors in April PJ party April 8th. Please reserve your spot in the PTA toolkit.
All students are invited to participate in one or both of the contests we do every year for Authors in April.
*Students may create a bookmark, inspired by their author. Winners of the bookmark contest will get to greet their author when they arrive, have their bookmark autographed & get a free autographed book!
*Students may write an introductory speech for an author (it doesn’t have to be their grade level) Winners will get to introduce the author to the classes before the presentation, will get a free autographed book & have their picture taken with the author.
Please see attached forms for more info. Let me know if you have any questions.
Adopt A Book Update- Massive, huge, incredible thanks to Mrs. Deshpande & Mrs. Webster for taking on this volunteer job. It is so exciting when the kids get to adopt a book in their honor & donate it to the library! It is also a lot of time to coordinate & I am truly thankful for their work. This year, we will wrap up the Adopt A Book Program in April, to make sure all summer birthdays, etc. are done by mid May.
If you would like to take part in Adopt A Book for the 21-22 school year, please fill out the form on the PTA toolkit or send back the form by April 29, 2022.
Thank you!
Thank you for sending in items to the Media Center! We really appreciate it!
We will always welcome boxes of tissues (Kleenex) and we are looking for a few more things:
