September Updates

SMART Notebook: Don't Do That Upgrade!

If you have SMART Notebook software installed on a computer or laptop in your classroom, you may have returned this fall to find that you're being prompted to do an update. SMART released Notebook 14 over the summer, but unfortunately have started charging for their software. Notebook 11 users can continue using that version of the software free for several more years. Our district has not yet made a decision about purchasing Notebook 14 licenses, and at this time the upgrades to the program are not worth the cost, so please do not update your software beyond the latest version of Notebook 11 until you hear otherwise. Please contact me if you have any questions.
