Fall Cabaret Auditions are Thursday after School!

The Fall Cabaret is scheduled for Saturday, October 5th at 7pm in the Choir Cabaret Lounge (choir room). Interested students should pick a song and contact Sierra via the Band App for an audition spot. It can be a solo, duet or small group! Students should bring a backing track and be prepared to sing at least part of the song for the audition. They should also bring sheet music as there will be a piano accompaniment for the show and Mr. Bunce needs time to learn all the music. This event is a really fun fundraiser for our program!

Stage and Tech Crew Meeting Thursday after School!

All students interested in stage and tech crew should attend the meeting Thursday. Students will meet in the choir hallway and the meeting will be held in one of the dressing rooms. Cheri Snook will be running the meeting. She is oversees the stage managers, design and build of the set and the technical aspects of the show. Please bring your crew contract and medical form.

Is Your Actor Interested in Attending the State Thespian Conference in January?

We are trying to gauge the feasibility of taking the students to the festival as a club. In order to determine pricing we need to have some idea of how many students would like to go. The conference is January 2-4th and is held at York College of PA. The students would leave school on Thursday at about noon and be transported by bus and then stay in a hotel for two nights. The students would have the opportunity to see many performances, participate in workshops and possibly perform. Inducted students will have the opportunity to perform in individual categories or present portfolios of work (crew) and CB West will be submitting a production number in which ALL students could perform if selected by the conference for a performance slot. Inducted juniors can do college auditions and seniors can compete for scholarships at the conference. Please let us know if you are interested by completing the very short survey below. The cost we list is a conservative estimate that does not include any fundraising. We plan to fundraise to cover some or all of the transportation costs. Thanks! The link to the conference web site is provided below if you would like more information.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read all the info. I look forward to seeing you or meeting you at the Cabaret!
